Accessing Submissions

1. Open the assignment or quiz

2. Click "View Submissions" or "Grade"

3. See all student submissions

Grading Interface

SpeedGrader

Navigate through submissions:

  • Previous/Next buttons
  • Student dropdown
  • Submission history

Viewing Submissions

  • File preview (PDF, Word, images)
  • Text submissions inline
  • Download originals

Entering Grades

Point-Based

  • Enter points earned
  • Out of total possible
  • Percentage calculated

Rubric-Based

1. Open attached rubric

2. Click rating for each criterion

3. Points calculated automatically

4. Add criterion comments

Letter Grade

  • Select from grade scheme
  • Automatic point equivalent

Providing Feedback

Written Comments

  • Overall comments box
  • Specific inline comments
  • Voice comments (record audio)

Annotations

On submitted documents:

  • Highlight text
  • Draw/mark up
  • Add sticky notes
  • Strikethrough

AI-Assisted Feedback

1. Enable AI suggestions

2. Review suggested feedback

3. Edit or approve

4. Apply to submission

Bulk Grading

Grade Multiple

  • Select submissions
  • Apply same grade/feedback

Import Grades

1. Export grade template (CSV)

2. Enter grades in spreadsheet
