Grading Schemes
Configure how grades are calculated and displayed.
Default Schemes
Standard Letter Grade
| Letter | Percentage |
|---|---|
| A | 90-100% |
| B | 80-89% |
| C | 70-79% |
| D | 60-69% |
| F | Below 60% |
Pass/Fail
- Pass: 70% or above
- Fail: Below 70%
Points Only
- Display raw points
- No letter grade conversion
Creating Custom Schemes
1. Go to Gradebook Settings
2. Click "Grading Schemes"
3. Click "Create New Scheme"
4. Define letter grades and ranges
Example: Plus/Minus Scheme

Applying Schemes
Course Level
1. Course Settings > Grading
2. Select grading scheme
3. Apply to all grades
Assignment Level
- Override course scheme per assignment
- Useful for pass/fail items
GPA Calculation
Set GPA values:
- A = 4.0
- B = 3.0
- C = 2.0
- D = 1.0
- F = 0.0
Include +/- modifiers if needed.
